Healthy Skin Basic Rules

Skin health and appearance reflect your lifestyle. To get a healthy skin, there are basic rules that must be followed.
 
Many beauty products that promise to be more healthy skin radiant and youthful. But it must be supported with daily habits. Here are the basic rules to get healthy skin, as quoted from Carefair.
1. Healthy skin starts from a healthy body
 
If you are not consuming enough nutrients and does not adequately hydrated, the skin will appear dull. Follow these suggestions for healthy skin and body:
 
- Drink at least eight glasses of water a day to keep the skin and body stay hydrated;- Make sure your diet by eating different colored fruits and vegetables of different colors;- Work out consistently;- Sleep at least eight hours a day;- No smoking.
 
2. Clean, care, moisten and protect  
In addition to avoiding skin from external attack, there are some basic skin care that can help. Take time to treat the skin in the morning and evening, such as cleaning, treating, moisturizing and protecting. The product you use depends on the type and skin condition respectively. 
 
3. Clean 
Clean your face one to two times a day with cleanser depending on skin type. Cleanser will clean skin as well as refresh and prepare for further body treatments. Complete the process of cleansing the face with a gentle toner to get rid of makeup is left on the face.
 
4. Treatment
To care for skin that is more specific, required treatment with active ingredients that can absorb into the skin cells. The active ingredients that can change the structure of the skin including antioxidants such as vitamin C, AHA and retinoids.
 
5. Peel 
Peel or exfoliate is another way to treat and soften the skin. This depends on skin type and sensitivity level. You can slough off dead skin with a scrub, AHA or BHA. Exfoliation to get rid of the outer skin to make skin fresher. But do not do this process every day because it can make your skin dry. 
 
6. Moisten 
Moisturize is a good activity to prevent skin from dryness. The role of a moisturizer is to mimic healthy skin by introducing materials such as antioxidants. For dry skin, moisturizer is required, such as oil and fatty acids. Highly recommended to apply moisturizer after cleansing.
 
7. Protect 
Incomplete feel if skin care is not covered by protecting the skin from ultraviolet rays. If you do not have a lot of time, use a moisturizer that has a SPF. But if you have enough time, use regular moisturizer, wait 15 minutes, then use a sunscreen.
