Care Tips & Dental Hygiene Keeping Little

Taking care of dental hygiene for children should begin before the tooth appears. Although the teeth have not seen, does not mean in that area there are no teeth. In fact, teeth begin to form from the second trimester of pregnancy. When the baby is born, he already had a 20 tooth bottom. Some of these teeth have grown in their jaws.

Therefore, child dental care should begin early. Use a gauze soaked with water to clean baby's teeth. When your child's teeth begin to appear, you can start using a toothbrush with soft bristles. Brush your baby's teeth twice a day. Do not forget to clean the tongue as well to repel the bacteria that can cause bad breath.

When Little could brush her teeth?

As quoted from Babycenter, when the child is ready and willing to look, you can let the child brush her teeth. Although children certainly have not been able to brush their teeth properly until school age, you should still appreciate his efforts.

Try brushing your teeth as a child, you are also doing similar activities. Give examples of how to brush their teeth. Tell children not to go through all the teeth to create a clean tooth.

What If Child Will not Brush Teeth?

If your child refuses whenever invited or when brushing your teeth, you can do business one way is to buy the child a toothbrush with a handle pictures or favorite cartoon characters. You can also buy a child a toothbrush with different colors so that kids like to feel have a choice every time he would brush my teeth.

Another solution, take the child to the supermarket to choose a toothbrush as he wishes. Also ask your child to choose a toothpaste that he wants. Usually there are different kinds of toothpaste flavors ranging from fruit flavor to chewing gum.

When Little Need to Contain Fluoride Toothpaste?

Fluoride is certainly needed for the developing teeth. This mineral can prevent tooth decay by strengthening tooth enamel. Fluoride also makes teeth more resistant to bacterial hazards.

Yes, you have to combine proper oral hygiene and professional care to make sure that your kids’ teeth are properly cared for. This is where pediatric dentistry sets in.
